We believe in one
God, the father of all, His manifestation as the Son in
the person of
Jesus Christ and His
indwelling and empowering of us through the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Apostolic Doctrine as preached and put
into action in the Books of Acts. This consists of true
conversion wherein Jesus is made the Lord of our lives,
water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and the earnest believeth in the Holy
Ghost.
We believe that God's people should manifest brotherly
love and Christian character in their public and
private lives, seeking to manifest the fruit of the
Spirit in all endeavors. We teach moderation in all
things, therefore avoiding all extremes in behavior,
including all addictions, and endeavoring to behave as
becomes a person professing Christ.
We believe in each individual having a personal covenant
relationship with Jesus Christ,
which includes a
lifestyle of prayer, faith, giving, fellowship and
observance of the
preciousness of
others.
We accept all people from all walks of life, regardless
of race, religion or culture and
attempt to embrace
all people in a spirit of love and acceptance.
We do not evaluate people on the basis of their
appearance, dress, or behavior, and we attempt to extend
ourselves to all people in accordance with their value
to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the universal ministry of all Christians
and the leading of the Holy Spirit
as to purpose,
passion and place.
We believe in the necessity of the covenant with, and
participation, the body of Christ as a means of person
and spiritual commitment and growth. |
